Rose Named to the USTFCCCA 2010 NCAA Division III All-Academic Cross Country Team
NEW ORLEANS - Junior Hannah Rose of the Swarthmore women's cross country team was named to the USTFCCCA 2010 NCAA Division III All-Academic Cross Country Team for the 2010 cross country season on Monday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). Rose finished 22nd overall with a time of 23:12 in the NCAA Mideast Regionals meet in November.

Six Swarthmore Student-Athletes Named to Centennial Conference All-Sportsmanship Team
Lancaster, Pa. - Six Swarthmore student-athletes have been named to the 2010 Fall All-Centennial Sportsmanship Team, the Conference announced on Wednesday morning. The Centennial Conference Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) established the All-Sportsmanship team in 2007. Each team elected a member from their squad who displayed good sportsmanship throughout the season to be selected to the All-Centennial sportsmanship team.

HAVERFORD, Pa. - Freshman Emma Saarel crossed the finish for a 10th place finish with a time of 18:43.35 in the three-mile course at the Main Line Invitational to lead the Garnet to a second place finish on Thursday night.

Women's Cross Country Bests Alums at Alumni Meet
SWARTHMORE, Pa. - The Swarthmore women's cross country team cruised to victory with a flawless 15 points at the 2010 Swarthmore Alumni Race, held Saturday at the College. Freshman Emma Saarel and senior Rebecca Woo led the women, finishing in 20 minutes, 17 seconds, and 20:22, respectively.
