SWAT LAST CHANCE MEET

MEET INFORMATION

Location: Walter T. Skallerup, Jr. Track located behind Lamb-Miller Fieldhouse.

Entries: All college entries must be submitted through the Direct Athletics website at www.directathletics.com.  If you do not have a DA account, you can create an account on their site by clicking the “New User” link.  Entries open May 5th and close May 12th  at 8:00P.

Unattached athletes must email their entries to: pcarrol2@swarthmore.edu by May 12th. 

Entry Fee: $10.00 per athlete, $150.00 for each men and women’s team of fifteen or more athletes. Entry fee is based on your entry, not on participation. No refunds for scratches. Make checks payable to: Swarthmore College.

Check-in: Athletes must check in for their events no later than 30 minutes prior to the start of their event or they will be scratched. Heats will be drawn at the close of check-in.

Order: In running events, faster sections will compete first. Field events will be seeded if necessary. This is a limited event’s meet. Please check the schedule to see the events offered.

Equipment: Spike length will be 1/4" maximum. No spikes in the Fieldhouse lobby. Implements must be certified and will be weighed in. Starting blocks will be provided.

Runways: All are synthetic except Javelin, which is grass.

Sports Medicine: Swarthmore Sports Medicine training staff will be available on site. Athletic trainers from other schools will have access to the Athletic Training Room and all equipment – splint bag, crutches, and AED. Emergency medical technicians, ambulance and doctor will be on call.

Showers: Showers will be available in Lamb-Miller Fieldhouse for both men and women. You will need to provide your own towels and locks.

Parking: Limited parking is available on the North and East Ends of Lamb-Miller Fieldhouse. Call for information on van and bus parking.

Results: All results will be posted at the Swarthmore Athletic Department website.

Eligibility: The meet is open to collegiate and post-collegiate athletes. NCAA rules will be followed.

Concessions: Concessions will be available during the meet.
