Ebose Breaks Own Shot Put Record to Highlight Women's Track & Field at Keogh Invitational

HAVERFORD, Pa. - In what is becoming a weekly occurrence, freshman Osazenoriuwa Ebose broke her own school shot put record,  reaching an impressive 39-08.00 to lead the Swarthmore College women's track & field team at Haverford's Keogh Invitational on Friday evening.

Ebose set the mark on her fourth attempt to reach an all-time personal best.

Along with Ebose, a small contingent of runners competed  at Haverford in preparation for the upcoming Centennial Conference Championships.

In the women's 400 dash, senior Stephanie Beebe crossed the finish line in fourth place with a time of 1:03.56 to meet Centennial Conference qualifying standards.

Senior Margret Lenfest finished fifth in the women's 800 meter run with a time of 2:25.13, also meeting Centennial standards.

In the women's 1 mile run, senior Katie Gonzalez finished 11th with a time of 5:36.73.

Freshman Zoe Cina-Sklar finished the 3,000 meter run in a time of 12:20.14

The Garnet return to action on Saturday, February 25, with the Centennial Conference Championships from Ursinus College.
