Supriya Davis Set for NCAA Swimming Championships

INDIANAPOLIS - Freshman Supriya Davis of the Swarthmore College women's swimming team will compete at the NCAA Division III Championships in Indianapolis on March 21-24 from the IU Natatorium.

Davis, the lone Centennial Conference female swimmer invited to the NCAA meet, will swim the 100 and 200 butterfly.

Davis won six gold medals at the Centennial Conference Championship meet in February, setting a Conference record in the 100 butterfly.  She is ranked 8th in the nation in the 100 (55.95) and 6th in the 200 (2:03.88).
 
The last Swarthmore swimmer to be selected to the NCAA Championships was seven-time All-American Anne Miller '10 in 2010.

100 Fly: Supriya Davis, Swarthmore (8th, 55.95)
Friday, March 23
200 Fly: Supriya Davis, Swarthmore (6th, 2:03.88).
