Karli Schilling

Karli Schilling has been an assistant coach with the Swarthmore women's soccer program since 2006. Prior to coming to Swarthmore, Karli was involved with Pennsylvania Olympic Development Program (ODP) as both a head and assistant coach for the U-13 and U-14 age groups. She was an ODP coach from 2000-2007. Additionally, Karli has worked with many local youth clubs as a skills coach since 2004.
Karli grew up in Doylestown, Pa. and played her high school ball at Central Bucks West High School where she won four state championships, was named to all-america and all-state as a senior, and was selected as the team's most valuable player in 1995 and 1996. She is also currently the school's all-time leading scorer, holding the single-reason record for goals in a season. Karli was a member of the Eastern Pennsylvania ODP State Select Team from 1990-1996. She was also a member of Region I ODP team from 1994-1996. Karli went on to play in the Atlantic Coastal Conference for Wake Forest University where she was a three-year starter for the Demon Deacons. In 1996, she was third-team All-Region, helping Wake Forest make NCAA tournament appearances each of her four years.
Karli received a Bachelor's of Art degree in psychology from Wake Forest in 2000 and currently studies in the Clinical Counseling master's program at La Salle University and also works full-time for Magellan Health Services.
