Women's Soccer Set for Centennial Playoffs

LANCASTER, Pa. - The Swarthmore College women's soccer team will open up Centennial Conference playoff action at Muhlenberg in a first round match that is scheduled for Thursday at 7:00 p.m.  

Swarthmore is making its sixth Centennial playoff appearance. This is Swarthmore's second appearance in the Centennial first round playoff, having tied Dickinson in 2009 with the Red Devils advancing on penalty kicks.

If the Garnet defeats the Mules, it will travel to Baltimore to face No. 1 seed Johns Hopkins in the first semifinal, which is scheduled for noon. The second semifinal between No. 2 seed Gettysburg and No. 3 seed Haverford is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. The winners of Saturday's semifinal contests will play in the championship match, which will take place on Sunday beginning at 1:00 p.m.
