Katie Lytle Named Centennial Conference Player of the Week
LANCASTER, Pa. - For the second time this season, junior Katie Lytle has been named the Centennial Conference Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday afternoon.
Lytle was outstanding in all phases of the game in a 1-1 week for the Garnet. She racked up her 11th and 12th double-doubles this season - including her seventh consecutive - with standout performances against Haverford and Gettysburg . Lytle tallied 15 points and 16 rebounds in the 69-44 victory over the Fords to go along with three blocks, three steals and two assists. Against the Bullets, she added 12 points and 11 rebounds to go along with a season-high five steals and two blocks. She was also exceptional from the charity stripe, finishing 13-for-14 in the two-game week.
The first-place Garnet return to action on Wednesday at home against Muhlenberg.
