Softball Releases 2013 Schedule
SWARTHMORE, Pa. - The Swarthmore College softball team has released its schedule for the 2013 season.
The Garnet opens the season with its annual Spring Break trip to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. After returning from Myrtle Beach, Swarthmore opens the season at Clothier Field hosting 320 rival Widener in a doubleheader (3:00 PM and 5:00 PM).
On March 26, Swarthmore will travel to Muhlenberg for its Centennial Conference opener (3:00 PM and 5:00PM). The team's schedule is highlighted by a home doubleheader against defending Conference champions McDaniel (April 2 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM), an April 6 doubleheader against Franklin & Marshall (1:00 PM and 3:00 PM), and a Senior Day double header against Tri-Co rival Haverford (April 20 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM).
