LANCASTER, Pa. - The Centennial Conference has named 57 Swarthmore College student-athletes to its 2012 Spring Academic Honor Roll, as announced on Tuesday. The honor roll recognizes athletes' performance both on the field and in the classroom. To be named to the Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must be a sophomore or higher in class standing, a starter or key reserve on his or her team or have qualified for the Conference championship meet. The student must maintain at least a 3.40 cumulative grade-point average.

Kenyetta Givans Earns Two Golds, Breaks School Record to Pace Swarthmore Indoor Track at Centennial Championships
HAVERFORD, Pa. - It was quite a day for sophomore Kenyetta Givans. Givans earned two golds, taking first place in the women's 55m hurdles (8.44) and women's 55 meter dash (7.47) - breaking the school record and earning an NCAA provisional time in the 55m hurdles - to pace the Swarthmore College indoor track teams at the Centennial Conference Championships from Haverford College on Saturday evening.

Ly Leads Garnet Indoor Track at Gotham City Cup
NEW YORK - Sophomore Daniel Ly was was the star for the Swarthmore College men's indoor track team in its first competition of the semester, earning two Top 10 finishes to lead the Garnet at the Gotham City Cup from the New York Armory on Friday afternoon.Ly finished fifth in the men's unseeded triple jump with a jump of 42'8, a season-best and second best jump in the Centennial Conference this season. He also finished 19th in the men's unseeded long jump of 19’4” and 63rd in the men's 60 meter preliminaries (7.67 seconds).

Garnet Men Indoor Track Opens Season at Jack Pyrah Invitational
