Verhasselt Sets Personal Marks in Decathlon at Kutztown's Mondshein Multi Decathlon
KUTZTOWN, Pa. - Sophomore Eric Verhasselt qualified for the Centennial Conference Championships and recorded the third most decathlon points in program history while competing at the Mondshein Multi Decathlon from Kutztown University on Friday evening.
Verhasselt compiled 3418 points to finish in 14th place while competing against opponents from across Divisions I and II.
The sophomore set personal-best marks in the 100m Dash (13.73 / 351 pts), High Jump (4-10 1/4 / 374 pts), 110m Hurdles (21.44 / 244 pts), Discus (75-2 / 327 pts), Pole Vault (7-3 3/4 / 185 pts)
Javelin (96-0 / 289 pts), and 1500m (4:55.02 / 589 pts).
