Red-Hot Men's Tennis Scorches Dickinson 8-1

CARLISLE, Pa. - Make it six straight victories for the Swarthmore College men's tennis team (10-6,  6-1), as the Garnet swept doubles play and took five of the six singles' flights to top Centennial rival Dickinson 8-1 on Friday afternoon.

Despite a tough loss at No. 1 singles, Swat had little trouble with the Devils. Senior Max Bressman, junior Stephen Youngblood, junior Zak Kelm and freshman Anthony Collard were all double winners on the day. Freshman Preston Poon was a winner at No. 5 singles while freshman Max Kaye teammed with Bressman to cruise at No. 2 doubles.

Since a March 26 loss at Johns Hopkins, the Garnet are 6-0, including five Centennial Conference wins.

The Garnet will look to lock up a Centennial playoff spot when it hosts Washington College on Wednesday from the College.
