Bullets Too Much For Men's Swimming; Garnet Falls 191-71
GETTYSBURG, Pa. - The Swarthmore College men's swim team suffered its first Centennial Conference loss of the season on Saturday, falling to Gettysburg 191-71.
The Garnet picked up two individual victories; junior Stan Le won the 100 breaststroke in 1:03.24, and senior Daniel Duncan took the 100 butterfly in a season-best 53.85.
Other notable swims came from senior Roger Chin, who took second in the 100 backstroke (55.63, season-best), and senior Charlie Hepper, who finished second in the 200 fly in 2:03.10.
Swarthmore finishes the dual meet season at home next Saturday against Dickinson. Action is set to begin at 1 pm.
