Men's Soccer Moves Up in National Rankings

KANSAS CITY, Kan. - Thanks to its three-match winning streak, the Swarthmore College men's soccer team (8-1-1) has jumped up in the rankings of both the NSCAA/Continental Tire and D3Soccer.com national polls, both released Tuesday afternoon.

Following a two-week hiatus, the men's soccer team returned to the NSCAA/Continental Tire Nation Poll at No. 16. In the Mid-Atlantic Regional Rankings, Swarthmore moved up to two places to a season-best No. 2 ranking.

In the D3Soccer.com poll, the Garnet moved up three places to No. 15.

The Garnet's new ranking will get put to the test in a hurry when the squad hosts No. 22 Scranton on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
