Peter Maxted Named Centennial Conference Defensive Player of the Week

LANCASTER, Pa. - Swarthmore College junior goalkeeper Peter Maxted has been named the Centennial Conference men's soccer Defensive Player of the Week in the week ending on September 9, as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

Maxted turned away eight Rensselaer shots in registering his second shutout in as many starts as the Garnet blanked the Engineers, 2-0 this past Saturday.

Swarthmore will return to action on Wednesday, September 12 for the 320 Challenge at Widener. The game is slated to begin at 7:00 p.m.
