Ferchill, Pak Lead Garnet Golf on Day One of Mason-Dixon Classic

ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa. - Junior Price Ferchill and freshman Andrew Pak both carded a 79 to lead the Swarthmore College golf team on the first day of the McDaniel Mason-Dixon Classic from The Bridges Golf Club.
As a team, the Garnet finished with a total score of 323, good for a sixth-place tie in the field of eleven.
Ferchill and Pak are both tied for 17th overall in a field of 55 players. Rounding out the Swarthmore contingent was freshman Jason Jolliffe (81), senior Kyle Krainock (84) and freshman Thomas Kim (85).
Final round play begins early Sunday morning.
