Swarthmore Sits in Second After Day One of Glenmaura National College Invitationa, Shoot 304
MOOSIC, Pa. - Freshman Andrew Park led the Swarthmore golf team on day one of the Glenmaura National College Invitational on Sunday afternoon, shooting a team low 74 to help the Garnet to a second place standing with a 304.
Park's 74 puts him in a tie for fourth in the field of 45. Swarthmore is only seven strokes back from the tournament leader, the University of Scranton.
Sophomore Jeff Wall shot Swat's second low score of the day with 75 and currently sits tied for sixth place while sophomore Sam White shot a 76 and is tied for ninth.
Rounding out the Garnet top four scores, sophomore Kyle Knapp carded a 79.
Swarthmore will continue on day two of the Glenmaura National College Invitational on Monday afternoon.
