Wet Golf Course No Worry for Weston as Golf Takes Second
SPRINGFIELD, PA – Junior Paul Weston shot a 74 to lead the Swarthmore "A" golf team to a second place spot in soggy conditions on Monday afternoon at the Rolling Green Golf Club.
Swarthmore carded a 313 as a team, finishing behind LaSalle University who scored a 300 for the match.
Sophomore Kyle Krainock led the Swarthmore "B" team, shooting a 77 and puttin him in a tie for fourth place overall. He would be followed by freshman Price Ferchill who tied for 12th place with a round of 84. Junior Alex Leichter's score of 90 put him in 22nd place and freshman Shreyas Ravi would place 27th with a round of 102.
Mike Johnson of La Salle University led all golfers with a 71.
The golf team's next event will be against Neumann University at Brandywine Country Club on Wednesday March 23. Tee-off is slated to begin at 1:15 PM.
