Baseball Blanks Rutgers-Camden 8-0; Eliminated From Centennial Playoff Contention
CAMDEN, N.J. - It was a bittersweet day for the the Swarthmore College baseball team, as the Garnet (20-14, 9-9) used one of its best all-around performances in weeks to blank Rutgers-Camden 8-0 on Tuesday evening from Campbell's Field, but was officially eliminated from the Centennial Conference playoffs when Johns Hopkins defeated Washington 16-12 earlier in the day.

Strong Pitching Leads Swarthmore Baseball To Season-Opening Sweep of Presentation from Desert Classic
BOULDER CREEK, Ariz. – Fantastic pitching performances from sophomores Neil Mejia and Kyle Crawford highlighted the Swarthmore College baseball team’s season-opening sweep of Presentation (S.D.) in the first day of the Desert Classic. The Garnet (2-0) won the first game 5-3 - thanks in part to a three-run rally in the top of seventh inning – while dominating the second game 6-0.
