Baseball Releases 2012 Schedule
SWARTHMORE, Pa. - The Swarthmore College baseball team has released its schedule for the 2012 season.
The Garnet will open the 2012 season with a double header at Catholic University on February 26 (12:00 PM and 3:00 PM). They will begin their spring break trip to Arizona on March 3 where they will face Pitt-Bradford, Bethany Lutheran, St. John's (Minn.) and, Presentation. They return home on March 10 and play a game at Penn St. Brandywine on March 11 (3:00 PM).
On March 27, Swarthmore travels to Haverford for its Centennial Conference opener (3:30). The team's schedule is highlighted by a home game against Tri-Co rival Haverford (March 30), a doubleheader on the road against Centennial Conference Champion Johns Hopkins (April 7, 12:30PM and 3:30 PM), and a Senior Day doubleheader against Franklin & Marshall (April 21, 12:30 PM and 3:30 PM).
