CANTON, N.Y. – Senior Osazenoriuwa Ebose competed in the discus throw at the NCAA Division III Track & Field Championships on Thursday, May 21 at St. Lawrence's Merrick-Pinkard Track & Field Complex.
 
A native of Scotch Plains, N.J., Ebose recorded a toss that sailed 142-feet, 1-inches on her third and final throw in the event to finish 17th overall. Brandy Smith of Ithaca won the event with a mark of 173-11.
 
Ebose, who was recently named the USTFCCCA Mideast Women's Field Athlete of the Year, will also compete in the shot put on Saturday, May 23 at 2:30 p.m. Her top mark of 49-8.25 ranks first nationally this season and ninth on the all-time Division III list.
