LANCASTER, Pa. - Junior Osazenoriuwa Ebose of the Swarthmore College track & field team has been named the Centennial Conference Women's Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week for the week ending April 20. 

From the Widener Invitational, Ebose threw the shot put three more inches than her record set last spring to place first overall with the 13.38 meter (43' 10.75") distance - a mark ranked 13th in all of Division III after the weekend. Competing at two meets over the weekend, Ebose also took first in the discus at Widener (128' 7") and at Larry Ellis (128' 9").

Ebose enters the final week of competition before the conference championships with the longest discus throw and second-best shot put mark in the league. In her trophy case, Ebose has one gold and one silver in the discus and one silver in the shot put.
