Swarthmore 81, Delaware Valley 72

SWARTHMORE, Pa. - Sophomore Karl Barkley poured in a career-high 26 points and four other players reached double-digits as the streaking Swarthmore College men's basketball team (3-6, 2-3) defeated visiting Delaware Valley 81-72 on Wednesday evening from Tarble Pavilion.
Junior Jay Kober recorded a double-double, finishing with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Junior Joe Keedy finished with 15 points, junior Jordan Federer added 12 points and senior Will Gates added 11 points for the victors.

Karl Barkley ’15 (Davidson, N.C.), Men’s Basketball
Barkley poured in a career-high 26 points on 6-of-7 shooting from beyond the arc as the Garnet defeated Delaware Valley, 81-72. He was 8-of-11 overall from the field. The sophomore currently leads the Centennial Conference in three-point shooting percentage (50 percent) and made three-pointers (25).

The men’s basketball team’s victory over Delaware Valley was its third consecutive to close out the semester, equaling the program's best winning streak since the start of the 2010-11 season.
