Showdown Weekend at Haverford - Information Page and Playoff Scenarios
SWARTHMORE, Pa. - The Swarthmore-Haverford rivalry dates back to the 1890s. In over 120 years of competition, there have been few -- in any -- events quite like this Saturday Sunday weekend. Three Garnet teams -- men's soccer, women's soccer and field hockey -- can solidify a spot in the upcoming Centennial Conference playoffs with a result over the Fords, while the volleyball team can clinch home-court advantage for the Centennial Conference First Round Playoff with a win.
