2012 Garnet Homecoming and Family Weekend Information

SWARTHMORE, Pa. – Garnet Weekend, commencing on Friday, October 26^th, is a celebration of academic, athletic and social bounty available to all at Swarthmore. It brings together our extended community of students and their families, alumni, faculty, staff and friends of the College to enjoy a host of events and activities.

There will be a historic unveiling ceremony as we applaud the achievements of the first inductees into Swarthmore’s new Garnet Athletics Hall of Fame. It will also be a weekend of fall team play (field hockey, volleyball, and women's and men's soccer) against archrival Haverford. And on Sunday, a different kind of physical contest is scheduled: the 40th annual Crum Regatta, in which students take to the creek in any kind of floatable (or not) vessel they dream up.
